Gove County Medical Center Welcomes Two New Doctors
Dr. Scott Rempel enjoys all areas of family medicine and Dr. Anna Rempel especially enjoys women's health, obstetrics and mental health. They are excited to be living in Quinter and getting to know the surrounding communities. They have begun their practice at Bluestem Medical & Gove County Medical Center and are currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Scott was born and raised in Newton, KS. He went to college at Washington University in St. Louis and graduated in 2012 with degrees in medical anthropology and public health. Four years later, he graduated from medical school at KU School of Medicine in Salina. Dr. Scott completed residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency Program in Salina in July of 2019. In his spare time, Dr. Scott enjoys anything that has to do with being in the mountains (usually Colorado), hunting, running and being outside whenever possible.
Dr. Anna graduated high school in Maize, KS after moving around a lot in her early years, with her father in the Air Force. She graduated in 2012 with her biology degree from Newman University where she also played softball. She went on to attend Wichita's KU School of Medicine, graduating in 2016. Dr. Anna completed residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency Program in Salina in July of 2019. When Dr. Anna isn't curled up with a book, she also enjoys the outdoors, gardening, biking and taking their dog Tessa for a walk.
